Rob Simmons - CEO, Scotwork Israel

RPSPICTURERob is CEO of Scotwork Israel. He is an experienced negotiator, adviser, business developer and presenter. He spent over 16 years working in the City of London, training in the world's then largest mutlinational commercial law firm before becoming co-owner of a Top 100 London law firm.

Rob's career has enabled him to advise corporates and public sector institutions across the financial spectrum. On the one hand, he has negotiated high-profile, multi-billion dollar transactions, including on the private equity takeover of a FTSE100 company and a failed bank during the global financial crisis.  Yet he has also served clients in the charitable and the public sectors, including a global auction house and Members of the UK Parliament. He has advised clients across industries ranging from oil & gas, utilities, pharmaceutical, financial services and a national postal operator. His clients commended him for being "first class", a "bright cookie" and as having a "breath-taking ability".

Negotiation has always been a key part of Rob's working life, with an ability to adapt his style to the circumstances. Clients have commended him for "engaging articulately during negotiations with third parties", whilst also being "particularly good when a tenacious approach is required". A fearless, yet agile, negotiator.

He is an accomplished presenter, having spent many years speaking at conferences, running workshops for his clients and was invited to speak on BBC radio. He was attracted to Scotwork having previously created and delivered a negotiation skills training program for his clients, recognising that even the most seasoned negotiators can still “upskill” when facing sophisticated negotiations.

Having moved to Israel in 2014, Rob worked with a legal software start-up as VP Business Development. He brought the Scotwork franchise to Israel in 2015 and is CEO of Scotwork Israel.
